Five location ideas for senior guys around Wichita, KS

Here are five of my current favorite locations for senior guys around Wichita. Some may look familiar but a few might surprise you!

Union Station

This is one of those very popular senior photo locations around Wichita that I avoided for many years. Once I started shooting here, though, I really embraced it. Each time I shoot here I find a new spot that I love. I love the unique architectural elements and the stone. There is a reason this is a Wichita hot spot for all kinds of photos.

Downtown (near Douglas and Broadway)

There are so many amazing spots for senior photos around Downtown Wichita. This little area is one of my favorites because I love the walkway between buildings, it’s really unique, and the color of the buildings. It’s a simple location that allows you to stand out.

Downtown Intrust Bank

The area around Intrust Bank is amazing because there are three spots that we can shoot here. There is the parking garage structure in the middle photo of Jay, a spot closer to Main Street and a parking garage that is close to the alley. The way the sun hits the building gives it some warmth that I love.

Ambassador Hotel

Name a more iconic rooftop spot than the Ambassador Hotel parking garage, I dare you. I’ve been shooting here for 10+ years and I haven’t found anything to match the Downtown views of the Ambassador. A great spot for sunset photos and night shots. Want Downtown vibes? Definitely included this location.

Downtown Church (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception)

My only regret about this location is that I didn’t start shooting here until recently. It’s SO good. I love the stairs, the columns and the posing variety that can happen here since there are places to stand, sit, lean, etc. Don’t sleep on this location like I did. Note: Please be respectful of the church and their services so we don’t lose this location and be careful of your surroundings here.
